Equity story

A trillion dollar industry waiting for a wake up call

The event industry is a trillion dollar market in need of an integrated online solution to fundamentally increase the value of events in the digital era.

Many meetings and events are still conceptualized, planned and executed in the same way it happened decades ago. Modern demands for intelligent interaction, networking, and exchange of ideas are simply not met. For too many participants, meetings feel like a waste of their time, resources and commitment.

A new digital approach

Conferize is a simple, yet powerful, digital platform, focusing on bringing people together in much more meaningful ways, liberating the true potential of people gathering.

We offer a unique turnkey digital toolbox for creating, planning and executing events. With a few clicks anyone can create engaging events, complete with website, tickets and communication. We help organizers set up social communities for their events, creating digital spaces where attendees and speakers can form relationships, share knowledge and engage - before, during and after the physical encounter.

An unfair advantage

We provide our second-to-none platform for organizing and executing events for free, to remove all barriers for organizers to adopt our tool and platform.

Like other social platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, Conferize’s primary source of value lies in building a dedicated user base in the millions by providing our tools and platform free of charge. For every user joining, the network gets strengthened and so does the business potential. It's fueling our global network where anyone can connect and engage around event content, conversations and ideas that move the world forward.

A fragmented market

The global event industry is a highly fragmented market with many players and no clear leader.

There are many providers with good partial tools, e.g. for tickets or websites. Very few provide a complete solution for organizing and executing events, and those solutions are often expensive and overly complex. They are a far cry from the simple and powerful user experiences we have grown accustomed to the past decade.

Conferize is a different breed. With a simple and holistic solution we empower anyone to create events and gather people in meaningful ways.

Global adoption

We are already global. Our platform counts more than 25,000 events in more than 140 countries. This is achieved with just a pilot version of our solution. Starting with the new and radically improved Conferize Version 2, launching in 2018, the long term ambition is to conquer the global market of events.
The pilot version shows us that organizers buy in to our value proposition: They want a better, simpler and more effective way to organize events, while enabling their attendees to get much more value from events and create impact. Since our IPO in june 2017 we have been able to realize over 10 percent monthly growth in organizers who sign up and join the platform.

Potential for converting reach to revenue

Unlike purely social networking platforms, Conferize taps into a vast and undisrupted existing market which already revolves around financial transactions. This will make the conversion from reach to revenue easier.

In the future there will be 3 revenue streams: 1) Monthly subscriptions: We offer a SaaS solution on a free basis with the possibility of paid upgrades. 2) Ticket fee: Fee on tickets sold via the platform. 3) Marketplace: Targeted and data-driven approach to market and sell tickets on behalf of the organizers.

Serial founders and a remarkable team

Our company leaders have once before created a global category leader, Issuu, the leading online publishing platform that today serves 100+ million users / mo.

We’re now using a similar business model in an another global industry, which is also struggling to make the jump into the digital era. Building on this track record, we are able to attract great talent and build the team, that will realize Conferize’s potential in the years to come.
